Welcome to the Tennessee Athletic Coaches Association website. TACA would like to thank you for your interest and support for our organization. Last year we had over 4300 members join and we certainly hope to add additional members for 2011-2012. The fee will remain at $30.00 for Coaches and Associate Memberships. The Retired Coaches Membership will be $15 annually.

This year we are offering three different type memberships. Please review the benefits and the new changes that will apply.

Coaches Membership - $30 Annually

Available to all coaches who are a registered coach with TSSAA. The TSSAA is requiring TACA to issue 3 different membership cards. Each card will represent either fall sports, winter sports or spring sports. Members must choose which sport season in which you would like to receive free admission to the Championship Events. Only one card per member will be issued for the 2011-2012 school year. Cards will be mailed to the high school Athletic Director.

Benefits will include:

One Million Dollar ($1,000,000.00) Liability Insurance Policy
Professional Educational legal liability for teaching responsibilities in the classroom should no other coverage be in place.
Free admission to the TSSAA State Championship Event in the sport season you select
Admission to TACA's hospitality rooms at the football and basketball state tournaments
Non-members must pay a penalty fee if they have an athlete selected to play in a TACA sponsored All-Star game

Retired Coaches Membership - $15 Annually

Available to retired coaches. The TSSAA is requiring TACA to issue 3 different membership cards. Each card will represent either fall sports, winter sports or spring sports. Members must choose which sport season in which you would like to receive free admission to the Championship Events. Only one card per member will be issued for the 2011-2012 school year. Cards must be mailed to the high school Athletic Director at the last school in which you coached.

Benefits will include:

Free admission to the TSSAA State Championship Event in the sport season you select
Admission to TACA's hospitality rooms at the football and basketball state tournaments

Associate Membership - $30 Annually

Available to businesses and college coaches.

Benefits will include:

Admission to TACA's hospitality rooms at the Football and Basketball State Tournaments
A copy of the TSSAA Directory

The primary benefit change to our coaches and retired coaches memberships this year will be the selection of whether you would like admission to fall, winter or spring TSSAA sponsored events. You must be a registered coach with TSSAA before we can process your membership and send your card.
